- Apply liberally: Use enough sunscreen to cover all exposed skin.
- Reapply frequently: Especially after swimming or sweating, and every two hours at a minimum.
- Consider sun-protective clothing: Hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing can help further reduce sun exposure.
- Avoid peak sun hours: Limit sun exposure between 10 am and 2 pm when the sun is strongest.
