Working Indoors and Not Wearing SPF?

Working Indoors and Not Wearing SPF?

You need to wear sunscreen every day, even when you’re indoors.

It may sound like a clever marketing ploy to sell more sunscreen, but I can promise you it’s not. We just want your skin to be as awesome as you are. And that means wearing your SKINSCREEN indoors, too.

Allow us to explain.

There are two main types of UV rays; ultraviolet A (UVA) which cause all those fun signs of premature ageing like wrinkles, sunspots, fine lines and freckles and ultraviolet b (UVB) which cause those nasty sunburns and damage the DNA in skin cells.

Thankfully, most windows block UVB rays, which is why you won't get sunburnt indoors. They won’t, however, block UVA rays…..so. Awks.

There’s a whole lot of math behind how UVA rays can bounce and how much damage you’re getting depending on how close you are to the window. Honestly that’s just way too complicated when you could just slip on a SKINSCREEN to protect your skin and call it a day.

And finally, a small...special number of you might wonder, what if I stay indoors ALL DAY in a dark room with no source of natural light?! Then do I still have to wear sunscreen?!!

Well… no I suppose not (P.S. are you okay? Here if you need!) But look, if you’ve already got an Ultra Violette SKINSCREEN™, might as well put it on. SPF application is the kind of habit we should be getting into right now. All our formulas have skin sweetening ingredients that do things like; provide antioxidant benefits, keep you hydrated, and improve tone and texture. Fun huh?

For more info on why you need to wear SPF from home, read THIS.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE. AVOID PROLONGED HIGH-RISK SUN EXPOSURE. WEAR A HAT, PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND SUNGLASSES WHEN EXPOSED TO THE SUN. RE-APPLY FREQUENTLY.
